Actually I think it has changed somewhat, If you get a site in back of the store, all the sites are pretty much level, You might need to be careful walking around the rear of your trailer, pretty large drop offs at some sites. Each site has its own deck with gas grill. Added last year. Most of the help were all senior citizens and were very happy to help out. The sites in the rest of the park have not changed much but it is in the plans to level em out. We love the park and yes it is expensive, but you’re paying for a resort that has lots to do. The Traffic around the store is not that great; we stayed there in June 08 and had a great time and the kids had a blast with the pool being so close to the trailer.

Christmas at Georgia Veterans State Park
We decided to do something totally different this Christmas, so we're on the road to the Ga Vets state park,21st thru the 27th. Never been there but have heard many good things about it. We actually wanted to do the mountains in NC but figured for the week we have off to do this, we didnt want to take any chances on the weather. Hopefully the kids and mom will like it or Im in trouble.

Im with Donn, My 03 3500 5.9 is averaging 17.6 MPG in the city. Not hauling 21 HW at 60mph. I dont think the 6.7 will do that, will they?

Diesel has been an issue around the Atl area. Hit and miss at stations all over.

Its ok, there are two parts upper and lower, the upper area is easier...the Climb up the hill off the HW is a doozy, your truck will get a work out. I took my 34 ft 5er there in July and had no real problems.
